Dan, that's a great suggestion. I have bumped my tripod numerous times and never thought about stabilizing it.

Where do you buy or how do you make the flexible shot bags? (Where do you buy the material, the lead shot, etc.?)

You can also use sand instead of shot for weight. You can buy a bag of play sand at Lowe’s, Home Depot type stores for the sand.

Small and blurry, but I just saw the rings of Saturn!

Can't remember if I have posted this or not. But I saw the craters on the moon very clear a while back.
