I'll take a New Year's Day Bowl (or better) no matter who the opponent is.

But my goodness, if we play Wisconsin, that might be the fastest bowl game in history. Guaranteed to be under 2.5 hours, even with bowl commercials and halftime shows.

My guess right now—assuming Georgia beats UK but loses to LSU then to Bama in the conference championship game. I haven’t checked to see who’s been where recently as that can affect the bids but I’m pretty sure we haven’t been to the Sugar recently.

Playoffs (Cotton and/or Orange) — Alabama; LSU
    Sugar vs. Big12 — Kentucky
Peach (at large vs. at large or non power 5 team) — Georgia
Citrus vs. ACC or Big10 — Auburn
    Outback vs. Big10 — Florida
Taxslayer vs. ACC or Big10 — S. Carolina
Music City vs. ACC or Big10 — Texas A&M
    Belk vs. ACC — Missouri
Liberty vs. Big12 — Miss. St.
Texas vs. Big12 — Ole Miss
    Independence vs. ACC
    Birmingham vs. AAC — Vandy

Yeah, but the last time we were there we won a National Championship.

Mick, I was just thinking about that this morning while I was driving round and some idiots on the radio were debating whether Saturday’s win or the win over LSU in 2007 was the biggest in program history. I generally don’t care for when people that don’t know what they’re talking about pretend like they do but that’s about all there is on the radio in Louisville.

Same. New year's game or better would be fantastic.
