Man, Doc. Drugs can be wonderful things, and hopefully they get you righted. I know this. Just a lack of sleep ALONE can screw up a person. You've got all those other things going on. Hopefully they start getting them knocked out for you. Thoughts and prayers to you, brother Doc.

.... time to go to work, that wasn’t too bad, 1:00-7:30, plus I got a nap in while watching WC yesterday afternoon.

Doc, you know the drugs better than me, but the Xarelto news would cause anyone pause and to put it mildly, a sobering look at life. For you I hope it is just a reminder to live every day to the fullest. After a stroke 10 years ago, i was a miserable camper. It took a while, but today I have a totally different approach to enjoying life. It is my goal every day. Good Luck and go for it!

I suggest you take a Diphenhydramine 50 mg (Medicine Generic name for a cough and colds). It will make you drowsy and you will have a good night sleep.

It funny because it may be having some benefits to me that were unexpected. My cluster headaches have become less. I've been on several meds for them over the past 5 years when they got super bad and they did not help. I had to go off all the migraine meds due to this but the interesting thing is my sudden onset headaches have ceased once I started the Xeralto. I've read no reports of that occurring. I mean it might be a "Viagra" moment for me where a medication for one thing (pulmonary hypertension) was found to work somewhere else (erectile dysfunction). If this stops my sudden onset cluster headaches, it would be worth it! Nobody has any idea what these things do to me and how they have really changed my life.

Well, I got the good news yesterday my BP med has been recalled. It’s a potential cancer causer. I’ve been on phone all day going between pharmacist and doctor.

1:43 and all is well, relatively speaking.

Going to sleep too early! (Not really, I try to go to sleep before midnight most nights, just don't always succeed. Not close tonight.)

    Re: Insomnia/Can’t Sleep

    Let's see...
Off work at 7:45, home, quick bite, shower and in bed by 9:30 so I can get up at 4:00 to be back at work by 5:00.
Something about that plan is not working...

Good news at least, July 31 marked the eight year anniversary of my stroke.
Got to give the Glory to God for this one!
