What's the difference between an orthopedic surgeon and a sports medicine doctor?
A sports medicine doctor has four more years to learn calendars and negotiation.
Dr. Larry Lemak told this joke today. He saw my son for a knee issue he suffered in a game Friday night, and had X-rays and MRI done, fitted with a playmaker brace, and will be ready to go tomorrow, assuming the MRI reads okay.
It helps that the school trainer works for him, and was telling him when the next game was before we had a chance to mention it. She said the coach would want to know.
Just happy it's not another ACL.
