Wow, Stephen Hawking passes at 76

Didn't see if it was due to his sclerosis or something else, but the passing of a giant of science, and a man who reached across into popular culture.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.

"I'm not afraid of death, but I'm in no hurry to die. I have so much I want to do first. I regard the brain as a computer which will stop working when its components fail. There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark."

"In the past, before we understood science, it was logical to believe God created the Universe. Now, however, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant when I said we would know God's mind was that we would know everything that God would understand if he existed. But there are no Gods,"

To me, he was a sad being and a atheist preacher. I pray he found wisdom before he passed and I am sorry for his family who said they would miss him forever, and yet I despise the damage he has done to humankind.

He, and we will find that his position of influence was used for evil. And He deserves no special mention.
he was like an ant who claimed to know what creation is.
I am sad that he will probably live in eternal darkness separated from the Creator of the very thing he (Claimed) to love.

He will have no more toes to run over with his chair. Something he claimed he loved to do.
    A menace.

And I say that with all confidence. We either truly believe, or we truly dont. And that is the most critical choice we will make in this life.
He made his choice and as he admitted, has no hope..others do have hope.
    Which is wise?

“Before I leave I’d like to see our politics begin to return to the purposes and practices that distinguish our history from the history of other nations,
“I would like to see us recover our sense that we are more alike than different. We are citizens of a republic made of shared ideals forged in a new world to replace the tribal enmities that tormented the old one. Even in times of political turmoil such as these, we share that awesome heritage and the responsibility to embrace it.”
    -Patriot and Senator. John McCain
