As a guy who struggled with 140 characters on numerous occasions, I like it. But I wonder if it is just what you get used to--will I struggle with 280 characters over time? I am hopeful my "training" over several years of getting used to 140 will keep me in check.

What I like about it: Not having to cut off something before I have in the hashtags for #WildcatChat, #Kentucky, etc. Things that point to us and UK. I also like, from a reading point of view, not having to read 9 continuous tweets with (CONT) or numbers, or whatever in it. Maybe they can get a "rant" or whatever done in 2 or 3.

What I don't like about it. I'm already seeing superfluous information in the tweets. As it approaches 280 characters, it is getting long for a read--it's more of a full paragraph, as opposed to a sentence or two, which I like.

On the whole, it's a plus, but it is not without its negatives. What say you?
