I expect Kentucky to be P***ed off, Tennessee to have given up

That's what I think we'll see next week.

Tennessee still has more "stars in the sky and the field" than we do, but not enough.

    Cats win by a touchdown.

I agree. In Commonwealth Stadium, and TN reeling, .....we should be favored

We win that one and walk away talking about how mark stoops is evolving as a coach and he's the best option we have, ha

I think we are as likely to beat UT as we are to beat Florida.

In other words, Ill believe it when I see it.

Agree...we have beat them once in thirty plus years with a freak occurrence at QB. UT in their minds owns UK and even downtrodded they believe that and why shouldn't they. UK better strap it up and if I hear we overlooked them from the players if we lose then we just stepped back to the Joker era in my mind.

Im sure they view UK as a winnable game. To get to a bowl and possibly save Butch’s job they need 3 more wins with games remaining @ UK and Missouri; home against Southern Miss, LSU, and Vandy.

Their scoring totals in order: 42-42-20-17-0-9-7. Our defensive totals are going the opposite direction: 17-16-13-28-20-34-45.

Tennessee will play their best game of the year. Our offensive line gets dominated by everyone we play and Butch will suddenly not be Botch for one Saturday. KY football just seems destined to never get over the hump.

Agree! I still think UT wins. Just depends on how we respond and right now I have no evidence to suggest that we will come out with fire.

I don't see a win against the Vols, even if they do stink this year. It wouln't be the first time we looked better than them on paper and lost to them.

This. I hope for a win, but I sure don't plan on one.

I see a coach coming in fighting for his job and a team coming in fighting for their coach . And our team BETTER expect this or they'll get their asses kicked again.

Only chance we have is to start a wide receiver at quarterback! lol

It,s a very important game. Win and we,re right where I hoped we,D be record wise. Lose and we,ll have to run the table against Vandy, Ole Miss, and UL

Was it you or Vince Marrow that gave the postgame "chat?"

I have no clue what to expect. Can we honestly say wed be shocked at anything from a blowout win to a blowout loss? We are capable of both and anything in between.

I could have delivered that speech and more. I could have exceeded the intensity, but not the vocabulary. I am so glad I didn't drive over for the game. I had a real bad feeling about the game and kept trying to deny what my gut was telling me. Fortunately, my gut won out and I stayed home.

You are dead wrong imo, UT players have not given up season and don't want to known as team to lose to "Kentucky" ,this will be a stern test only if we bring our a game otherwise UT wins by 10 + . Living in Tennessee I see more insight than most about the Vols, Jones will keep his job if he can run the table with the remainder of the games regardless of what the fanbase wants so I am sure he will have them prepared. Cats better find a way to stop Kelly ( he's better than anyone we've had in a long time at tailback).

I had a feeling the MSU game would go the way it did....

Just the opposite with the Vols... UK by 10.

Re: I expect Kentucky to be P***ed off, Tennessee to have given up

I lean towards UK being much better prepared than we obviously were last week, where it seemed like there was an attitude of 'Oh well, we're going to lose this so why bother?' Hopefully our coaches come into this one thinking we can we win and instill that vibe in the team instead of the opposite.

UT is every bit as good as Florida.
And the more I think about it, I think UF just went through the motions until crunch time, knowing they were that much better

Teams improve drastically over the course of a season. Most in the country are thirty points better than when they started. We have declined, as in every season under Mark Stoops, so I don't need to do the math

This is a game we must win though. I don't believe we will beat Vandy or U of L, and Georgia will have a historic day against us scoring and on defense.

Living in Miss, that is the same way I felt about the games this past Saturday.

I just don't trust our coaching staff. Under normal circumstances I would say UK wins this game but with this staff and their decision making in games...3rd and 1 and very much in the game and the passing dept hasn't produced and we throw the ball...I can see UT winning this game

No way I would bet on this game

I sincerely hope we try to do something on offense that their defense, everyone in the stadium, and everyone watching at home isn't expecting us to do. If not, we lose and I officially give up lol.

    Ding ding ding!!!

Not sure about how pissed the team is, and I'm probably not what you'd considered pissed... but after starting to think maybe... Stoops shows up and it's right back to the fetal position.
