Sounds like he did a decent job of estate planning by placing his holdings in a trust, but his widow and his daughters are arguing over the trust terms and who makes decisions. Without seeing the documents and knowing the law in the appropriate state (I'm guessing California), it's hard to say whether the daughters have a case, but I bet this is not what he had in mind when he did his planning.

I just finished re-watching the Criterion version of Dressed to Kill and one of the supplements was a dialogue with Brian De Palma who wrote and directed the movie. It was fascinating how his mind works with his choice of actors and his vision on how everything should come together. Basically, he's a reincarnation of Hitchcock.

You would think that for an estate of his size, a quick google says maybe upwards of $100 million, that you'd have some pretty sharp lawyers drawing up the documents, and not leave that kind of vague language that is so critical to the control of the assets.

Season 2 of Derry Girls just dropped on Netflix last Friday. Hilarious show, but only a 6-episode season.

final season of "Orange is the New Black" is out.

I love lesbian prison shows.

Disappointing IMO. Was a big commentary on the injustices toward illegal immigrants. Was a main story line within the season and not presented in a fair manner. ICE people bad, illegal immigrants are all unjustly incarcerated, all deported, and all treated poorly.

The Yankees and White Sox will be playing on "The Field of Dreams" (yeah, the one in the movie) in August of next year. There will be limited seating, looked to be a few thousand.

AMC’s The Terror, debuts tonight. It’s listed as a drama, suspense. Takes place in an American-Japanese neighborhood on Terminal Island... other than that I don’t know what to expect. The previews looked pretty spooky....

Plus season 2 of Lodge 49 airs on AMC tonight as well.

I’m sure neither of these will be as good as the klepto vagina thread, but what the heck!

Got a little money as a birthday gift and used some of it to order Midnight Run on DVD. Listened to a recent podcast series, The Rewatchables, that did an episode on Midnight Run and it reminded me how much I enjoyed it.
