Vacation photos
Some of you see my Facebook page so lots are repeats. Mick had updates on his journey which I enjoyed so thought I'd share some. We are currently in Hawaii. First photo is from the observatory on Monau Kea. Those snowy things are the TOPS of clouds. Is probably the best observatory location in the world on the top of the volcano. Is accessible by 4x4 only. Is over14,000 feet which is above the clouds and weather. We watched the sunset from here
This is me jumping off the southern most point in the USA. South Point is south of key west.
Today we ATVed around Wiapio Valley, aka the valley of the kings

Re: Vacation photos
We not been to Oahu since our first visit. My wife was pregnant for our son who is 19 now. Was there for UK at Maui invitational, Tubbys first year. We visited Pearl Harbor and were on the AZ monument when the IU basketball team was visiting. I wanted to push Booby Knight into the water but my stopped me. She regrets that now

Re: Vacation photos
I've been to Hawaii a few times. Everyone asks what's so special there. I always tell them the pics don't do it justice. Something you must experience in person.

Re: Vacation photos
Not on my bucket list but would like to see it. Just have a few other "big" trips ahead of it that I may never experience...Was going a few years ago, my cousin was stationed there so we had a free place to stay. But the wife got pregnant and we decided not to go. Doubt I ever make it there now, but maybe someday.

You can find a few of my trips here. I've gotten lazy on Flickr the last few years and mostly add my girls photo but I don't really organize them either...But above is the album to a few trips.
edit...The Biltmore pics are worth looking at. My first vacation with a DSLR and I took a lot of them.Last edited by KentuckyWildcat; 08-15-2017 at 04:10 PM.
