Wonderful!
I like the gulf side but it is a more tropical Lake Michigan to me.
If the waves don't crash and display the awesome power of the ocean, it is not a true beach vacation.
Have a blast!

“Before I leave I’d like to see our politics begin to return to the purposes and practices that distinguish our history from the history of other nations,
“I would like to see us recover our sense that we are more alike than different. We are citizens of a republic made of shared ideals forged in a new world to replace the tribal enmities that tormented the old one. Even in times of political turmoil such as these, we share that awesome heritage and the responsibility to embrace it.”

Very little damage from what I can tell. Some shingles and siding damage. Lots of trees and limbs stacked up and waiting to be picked up. I have not seen any real structural damage to anything.
There are some areas that may not always have water standing. But hard for me to say for sure. But no lasting signs of flooding yet.
The water is dirtier than normal but I expected that.
Very cool, great pics. Have a wonderful time.
Just uploaded more pics
Drove A1A from Amelia to St. Augustine. Neat drive. Some decent storm damage north of St. Augustine. A few homes/building destroyed.
