If you get a chance, check out the documentary "Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project" by John Landis on Netflix. Great insight on the man and also an era in America that's long past. RIP.

On a whim late yesterday I watched a Dean Martin celebrity roast on YouTube and he was on it. I think that generation was the best in my lifetime.
Cool as a rule, but sometimes bad is bad.
I still get a kick out of those. In fact the Foster Brooks roast of Rickles is one of my favorites. Man it's funny. Of course Brooks always cracked Dean Martin up completely.Originally Posted by badrose
