Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs. LSU

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. Over/Under, 777 - Predict whether the total lead in the game (regardless of who leads) will be OVER 7 or UNDER 7 after 7 minutes have been played, and by how many. Example: If Kentucky leads 15-10 with 13:00 remaining in the first half, your answer would be UNDER, by 2.

    4. Triangle and Two Pick the LSU Triangle--their top 3 leading scorers for the game -- and Kentucky's Two -- Kentucky's top two leading scorers for the game--and add the points together. Predict them here.

    Tiebreaker: Kentucky TWO-POINT FG percentage

    Good luck!

    1) UK by 25
    2) Monk w/27
    3) Over 3 (I think this means that I believe somebody will lead by 8 points at the 13 minute remaining in the first half mark. I'm not sure if that is the question but that is my answer)
    4) 78

Over 3 means you think somebody will lead by 10 points at the 13 minute mark. The over/under is set at 7.

Great, sorry for the confusion. I think my example should have been left out and it would have been less confusing .

Sorry if I duplicated anyone's picks; not in my normal habitat and did this in a hurry.

Cats win by only 7 in this game, and Flounder had a nice pick of 11 for the win.

Nobody with Blakeney of LSU for high scorer, but his 31 points easily carried the day (and LSU to a closer-than-hoped-for game).

    No point awarded here.

Over 7 the 777 game? How funny!

And also accurate--dead on the nose, as Kentucky held an 18-4 lead at the 13:00 mark, or a 14-point bulge. With the over/under set at 7, OVER 7 was the exact answer. Great pick here.

    LSU had 31 + 17 + 9 = 57
    UK had 23 + 23 = 46 (I figured UK's two would be about even with LSU's 3, which I thought would make it fun. I missed.)

    Total = 103

Dang close, near perfect pick here for the point.

Tiebreaker needed for this game to break the 3-way tie.

UK was 31-63 overall, but 9-25 from 3-point range. So they were 22-38 from 2-point range, or 57.9% from inside the arc.

Harlow was the only one with a pick over 50%, and very close with his 53%. Congrats to Harlow, riding that 777 good luck train and a close tiebreaker for the win.
