5 favorite Christmas Songs
I'm sure I'll change these when people start posting about their own, but off the top of my head, here are my five favorite Christmas songs:
Grandma got run over by a rain....nah, not in a million years. Here's my list; what is yours?
1) White Christmas
2) You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch
3) Silent Night
4) O Holy Night
5) O Come, All Ye Faithful
6) All I want for Christmas is You (sorry, couldn't stop at 5)

I have a real liking for the Manheim Steamroller versions of those songs/carols but the traditional renditions are great as well.seeya

Yes, I know it isn't five. Just a few from my Christmas compilations that get some reactions. I also like the Band's version of their "Christmas Must Be Tonight". Rick Danko and Levon Helm.Last edited by bigsky; 11-22-2016 at 08:45 PM.

Re: 5 favorite Christmas Songs
Hard to pick just 5. I really do enjoy Christmas music, both carols and secular.
I have to go with
--O Holy Night (the Josh Groban version is my favorite)
--Silent Night
--Joy To The World
--The Christmas Song (the Nat King Cole version)
--And I love tropical-themed Christmas songs for some reason, so I'm going to cheat and go with a tie here: Christmas Island (the Leon Redbone version from "Elf") and Mele Kalikimaka (the Bing Crosby/Andrews Sisters version)U really think players are going to duke without being paid over Kentucky?--Gilbert Arenas, 9/12/19

Re: 5 favorite Christmas Songs
Hard category
I like Silent Night and Joy to the World (though if I had to pick between this Christmas song and Three Dog Night's version, I could not decide)
The Christmas Song, Sleigh Ride, and Rocking Around the Christmas Tree are on my list too. Silver Bells also.
But my favorite, though a bit goofy, is probably Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for some reason. I just like it and it is really fun to sing.
