Now that that GOP controls all 3 houses of Congress, I wouldn't be surprised to see progressives now see the wisdom in a smaller federal government, including a small regulatory structure and power devolved to the states. This is a great opportunity to fundamentally change the nature of government in our country. Do I think it's going to happen? No, but there's a very small window to do something transformational.
