Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs.
    Asbury
    :

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. Over/Under: "5": Predict whether Brad Calipari will score OVER 5, or UNDER 5, and by how many. Note--you must get the "OVER/UNDER" part right to get credit. For example, let's say that he scores 4 points, and somebody picked over, 1, and everybody else picked under by 3 or more. Even though the "over" picker was closer to the actual points, he/she missed the first prong, and would not win the point. Gotta get that part right to get the point. If nobody gets that part right, the point is abandoned.

    4. Free Throw Fanatic: Name the player who will make the most free throws in the game for Kentucky. No number needed.

    Tiebreaker: Kentucky FT percentage.

    Good luck.

Now, when are we ever going to see somebody miss by 32 points--and yet win the KSR point? This HAS to be an all-time record lol.

Cats win by 93, and I thought 60 was a ridiculous guess.

De'Aaron Fox led all scorers with 25; nobody picked him--this may be the hardest point to earn all season long.

    No point awarded.

Making an executive decision here before looking at the picks--Brad Calipari was the OVER/UNDER pick here, and the total was "5" for the points he would score. It happens that we got this exactly right on the nose, as he scored 5.

The "rule" is you have to get the OVER/UNDER part right first--and then you go to closest. It could create an unusual situation, where the one he guessed closest would not get the point, because they had the wrong "side" of OVER/UNDER.

Here, it is exactly even. The executive decision rule here will be that in the rare circumstance where it is exactly even, of course, if somebody picks that, they will win the point. But in the absence of any "even" picks, we will not require OVER/UNDER to be correct; just award the point to the closest contestant.

I'll go to the tape now and see who wins the point.

Results in many KSR points awarded, since there wasn't an OVER/UNDER filter. One point for each of the following smart guys who got within one of Brad's output.

Fox, Briscoe and Hawkins all successfully made 3 free throws, highest on the team. So three correct answers possible, which means that almost every participant (cough-UKFlounder-cough) earned a KSR point here by selecting one of those choices.

...and with an astounding total of 3 of 4 possible KSR points (although many had 2 points--and kudos to you all), the Krankster earns his 2nd bid of the season, with no need to go to the tiebreaker.

    Well done, Krank.

Hey you guys--now we have the exhibition season over--I expect some of you to step up and present a challenge. Krank is well on his way to an undefeated season. We can't allow that.

The "fake" games count too, man. I'll get the Hall of Fame rolling (maybe this afternoon) and when it does, you'll be prominently at the top with those two exhibition wins. We count everything.
