Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest 2016-17: Kentucky v Clarion (Exh)

Let's get the party started early this year, folks.

Play the KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky vs. Clarion :

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory (+) OR loss (-). If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. Over/Under: "43": De'Aaron Fox and Isaiah Briscoe. Predict whether their total combined points + assists will be OVER or UNDER 43, and by how many.

    4. Start Me Up: Name the player who will score the first point of the season for Kentucky.

Tiebreaker: Official attendance for the game.

    Good luck.

Let's get this graded, and the first HOF winner on the board, shall we?

Cats prevail by 57, and Krank had the highest--first KSR point of the season goes to the Krankster!

Kentucky had 10 players with 5 or more points in the game; including six double digit scorers and one with nine. But the game-high scorer, with 16, was Andrews for Clarion.

No point awarded there. This could be an interesting stat all year.

Fox had 12 points and 7 assists, and Briscoe had 11 points and 11 assists, for a total of 41--exactly 2 under the "43" total. One smart player nailed it on the nose.

Gabriel scored on a layup to open the scoring for the Kentucky season. Nobody had the young man, so no KSR point there.

We go to the tiebreaker for the 1st game contest of the season, which was UK attendance for an exhibition game. This is crazy that we'd have so many...for an exhibition game. An exhibition game. Repeat, an exhibition game.

Cat fans filled Rupp at over 20k, with 20,099.

Krank was extremely close (were you counting them as they walked up to Rupp?), and walks away with the first HOF induction of the season. Way to go, Krank!

Thanks, but rooting for you this year... well, you and kingcat... okay, you and kingcat, and a bunch of other people.

I think this year's team is going to be fun to watch so the Game Contests should be fun as well, although I am not sure that makes actual sense.
