They have caught child pornographers with less information. So it might help but I'm not sure.

Interesting project. probably a great idea if for no other reason than Washington U in St. Louis is part of it, and that's my school. Then again they let me have not one but two degrees...
It would seem to depend on having the software to take a picture and do a rough match to possible rooms from a vast database. If that is effective then it's just a matter of having enough room pictures.
Seems like it's more than worth a try. Doesn't cost the public anything to submit photos, and it's a non-profit running it. If it can just find one even now and again that's a win given that it's not diverting police resources.People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
