I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight.
I blame Bush II completely for this one. I never agreed with bringing "democracy" to Iraq b/c there's no such thing there without a far longer term effort than we could muster politically, so all you're doing it handing the nation to potential enemies.
We should have installed a moderate but definitely pro US government with very limited and fairly laughable elections and contracted for their oil and let the "war for oil" people be right.
You'd think conservatives wouldn't have such silly idealistic notions. Where's Kissinger when you need him?
