    * Play KSR Hall of Fame Game Contest: Kentucky v Arizona State *

    1. Predict the Kentucky margin of victory. If you believe that Kentucky will lose, make sure that you make it clearly known with a -- [minus sign], or something else.

    2. Predict the game high scorer, AND the total number of points he will score in the game. NOTE--it does not have to be a Kentucky player for this KSR point.

    3. Over/Under - is 6.5, as in, there will be a 6.5-point lead at halftime by one team or another. (pick OVER or UNDER 6.5, AND by how many. Do not have to identify the team)

    4. Saturday Sunsetter - name the UK player who will score the most points as the sun sets, i.e., in the 2nd half. No need to pick the points, just the player.

TB - combined FT percentage of Isaiah Briscoe, Marcus Lee and Charles Matthews (add up their combined FTs made divided by their combined FTAs).

    Good luck.

Cats prevail by 14, and catmanjack's pick was just 1 off. Nicely done.

catmanjack out to a commanding lead, with his 2nd excellent pick--and 2nd KSR HOF point--of Jamal Murray, who led all scorers with 17. One bucket off and the right player is a winner.

Lead at the half was only a measly point, and UNDER, 6 was the perfect answer. This was close and good for the 3rd KSR point.

Lot of correct "Sunsetter" picks of Jamal Murray, who poured in 12 points in the 2nd half. A KSR point to...

Blueboss grabs 2 points in the last two to forge a tie with catmanjack, and the 2nd consecutive HOF contest to go to a tiebreaker.

Combined FT percentage of Briscoe, Lee and Matthews.

    Briscoe: 0-2
    Lee: 2-5
    Matthews: 0-2
    Combined: 2-7, for 28.6%. Sigh.

Congrats to catmanjack! Excellent tiebreaker pick, missed by just 1 FT from being perfect. Nicely done, sir.

    Nice win, jack.

Just to be a nitpicky bastard, I wanted to let you know, Darrell, that you missed ONE detail, which was that I was supposed to be in the tiebreaker too. I also won #2, Murray with 19 points.

At least this way, the bossman knows I am at LEAST in second place right there with his sorry behind.

Too bad we're not playing grenades, we'd be doing a lot better.

    Ouch. Mea culpa!

I always appreciate double checking me, and it's usually easier to spot my screw-up if I do it on your own personal one.

That's a big detail to miss. In fact, I was detail g about having a Hall of Fame Veteran's Committee Induction at the end of the season, by keeping track of how many KSR points were earned during the season, and the top two or three or something would go in the Hall that way.

I haven't mentioned it because I haven't gone back and counted points, but I think it might be fun. Would also make guys like you and blueboss feel better when you get a couple of points, but get nipped by a tiebreaker.

    Thanks for mentioning it. Always.
