3.37 miles in 111° heat index. Don't worry, I play it safe, and I'm not trying to break any records.
Hope you were test driving a Go-Kart.

Nah. Slow old man run thru neighborhood. Surprised it was this hot by noon, and thought I had beaten the worst of it. I didn't.

Wow, you guys have gotten as exciting as watching paint dry.
May have to merge in the PG-13 joke thread to get this thing going good again.
A minister, a duck and a rabbi walk into a bar. Bartender says "what is this, some kind of joke?"
No wait, come back, it gets better.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
WD-40 is really nature's ointment. I'm convinced of it.
If it sticks and shouldn't, WD-40.
If it doesn't stick, and should, duck tape.
Does a man really need anything else?
A knife, and fork as well as a pack of matches would be nice to have

Mrs. BEvans is the same way. She carries a sweater with her to put on whenever she's in a store/movie theater/restaurant/etc.
Me, I work in a building that was built in 1938 (Pat Appelman knows it). Supposedly we have a modern HVAC system, but you wouldn't know it by how often it stops working in my part of the building. I haven't had air in my office in a month. And I'm not talking cool air, I mean any air coming out of the vents at all. I get some residual cooling from the hallway, but it's a balmy 79 in my office right now. So I feel your pain, but just in a different way.

Here's a shot of our backyard when we were down there in May. It's amazing the difference in sand like 20 minutes apart.

Wouldn't mind either one...

Had to console myself with this after church...

Have stayed at Perdido Key, it's a very nice place. Right up my alley on quiet and relaxing.
Funny thing--we stayed at Pensacola Beach. Probably 20-30 minutes from McGuire's, too .
(Maybe not quite that long, but not exactly next door to it, either. Probably 15 minutes.)
Add my steak to y'alls backyards and we have got one fine get together.
Awesome photos of the beaches guys.

Breathtaking.
I am hoping to take Grammy to Fort Walton Beach for our anniversary (November 1).
It has been too long since I have been to the Gulf...
