You know me, I'm "frugal," but even I think that's a good deal. I think it's about $15, you get a decent view, goes around 4 times (about a 10-minute ride, give or take), especially at night.

I had an explosive dog as a kid. Mom made me keep him outside b/c of it...
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

4 hours from a "Pops in the Park" event. Possible rain forecast. How's your Sunday going?
Just tried a diet ice cream called Halo Top. HOLY CRAP this stuff is good. I have tried a few other diet ice creams, like Artic Zero. They DO NOT compare. This stuff is incredibly rich and creamy in a way the others don't even come close. I just tried the lemon cake version and the taste is very much lemon creme cake in flavor. The best thing is, you can eat the whole pint and only consume 240 calories (in comparison to something like Ben&Jerrys that would be around 1000 or more).
I will look for that Pedro. Interesting.
Pops in the Park has been moved to school cafeteria. How boring.
If you're dyslexic does the sun rise in the west?
Not if you are facing west

West? Adam West, the original Batman, celebrated his 88th birthday yesterday. Holy birthday cake candles, Batman, and happy birthday.
I don't know what made me think of this, but I saw Carol Channing in her last tour of Hello, Dolly in Birmingham in February, 1997. She was 76, and she owned the stage like no other actor I've ever seen before or since.
Carol is 95, and still kicking. Met this summer with Bette Midler, who is going to reprise the role in 2017 on Broadway. She will be a spring chicken of 71.
Sally Struthers played Dolly a few years ago (appeared in Birmingham), and was outstanding in her own way, but Dolly will forever be Carol Channing.
