No soft drinks for me, gave up about 5 years ago. Iced tea maybe once a week. Water, 95% of th time it's not a hot drink.

Gave up soft drinks. Switched to light beer. Never much on coffee but I do often drink the beer out of a coffee mug, helps keep it colder longer.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

I've given up alcohol, but I'm hanging on to my soft drinks.... For now anyway.

My last soft drink was in December, 1984. For me, it's mostly water along with decaf tea or decaf coffee.

I have gone caffeine free at the same time I started my diet. It was DAMN rough at first but I absolutely do not miss it now. Feel much better actually without caffeine.

Nope, I just had a hankering for some jelly beans.

Good jelly beans are hard to find outside of the Easter season.

Dang you blueboss, got me to thinking about some of my favorite candy as a kid and now I got a hankering for some horehound and some licorice...

I wonder if chocolate doughnuts are low in calories. I'd rather wonder than look it up. No reason, really.

I am pretty sure those were grown without insecticides. Does that make them organic, and low fat? I'm going to go with that.

Yeah, I'd love to find me some of them 'organic doughnuts'.
    MOLON LABE!

    Re: Last Post Wins

They're all organic in that they're all carbon based. Trust me, I took chemistry.

I had a root beer last night.

Ate at Freddy's, a retro-style hamburger joint that just opened in Lee Branch in Birmingham. Thin cut french fries and wafer thin hamburger patties. Tasted fine, wife said it was too salty, but I like salty foods (you can have sweet, I'll have salt). Anyway, with a Johnny Rockets sort of decor, I thought a root beer seemed appropriate.

I don't have some weird aversion to soft drinks. I'll have another one in four or five years. I still consider that as "giving them up," but it was in lieu of a dessert for me because of the setting.

Going to the track in about an hour. We've been doing that to beat the heat.

    In soccer? USA v Ecuador

USA up 1-0 so far. Almost half time.

  21. #801
Fun half. Everybody is praising Dempsey and Jones, but Bobby Wood has been a thorn in Ecuador's side all night, including a great possession leading to the pass to Dempsey.

Michael Bradley, well, I'm just shaking my head.

Woods has been killer for the USA on offenese, Brooks has been a thorn in Ecuadors side on defense. They are responding by trying to play Muay Thai with him instead of futbol.

Anything worse than spilling a glass of ice water on you in bed as you are trying to go to sleep?

    I'm asking for a friend.

Yup. Waking up wide awake thinking of everything you need to do today...

I hate mornings. I run thorough the 20 things that I didn't get done the previous day, and the 20 that won't get done that day.

Why do golf fans run to stand next to the ball when it flys into the rough/trees?

showed during the course of the transaction. I want to compensate you
and show my gratitude with the sum of US$700,000.00.

I really want to compensate you for your past effort to help me that
time.I dropped the total sum of US$700,000.00 (Seven Hundred Thousand

is not happy that I have to allocate such amount to you bearing in
mind your attitude toward the transaction at its crucial stage.
