Not much more than a dusting but schools are on a two hour delay. Sometimes I think they do that just because they know there would be a lot of hookey playing (students and teachers alike) otherwise.

We got a little over an inch in Louisville. Of course, you had people absolutely lose their minds. Some people driving 30 in a 65 like there's 6 inches of snow on the road, others driving 80 like it's clear and dry. Reminds me of the old quote, "Hell is other people."

Ended up with only 3/4” at my house and it’s already all melted off my driveway and the neighborhood streets. The landscaping/salt guys have to be hurting this year.

Got a bit of snow. Just enough to remind us of winter.
That's nice. Now it can go away and get warm. Thanks in advance.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Happy St. Valentine’s Day!
Get her the flowers!

On my way. Fortunately, my wife doesn't require the overpriced ones from the florist and the ones from my local Publix will do. Hopefully I haven't waited too late.
Nope, she is making a “she room” and she said she needs a recliner. I would much rather buy some flowers than a freaking $500-$800 (give or take) recliner.
I did stash a couple of cards and a box of candy around the house so she stumbles over them throughout her meanderings.

Makes sense to me but I don’t make the rules.

Me either, obviously or I would have taken Darrell’s lead and picked up a dozen roses at Kroger’s ($25), a couple of cards ($10) box,of chocolates ($25),dinner ($100).
....as it is I’m on the hook for everything above except the flowers, plus the recliner.
Good news, I’ve got lowers for Rupp tomorrow and 3/3 when TN comes a knocking...with no stink eye.

Yep, we could use it, the river is not quite high enough.

I'm thinking of having my bathroom roof removed so I don't have to pay for the water for showers. It's bound to be raining at least every other day.

There's a scene in the Civil War documentary where they read a Soldier's letter home as he describes Tullahoma, Tennessee. He writes something like "Tullahoma is a combination of 2 Indian words: 'Tulla,' which means 'mud,' and 'Homa,' which means 'more mud.'"
I think that accurately describes Kentucky this winter.

Went to bed at 2 (after stewing about the UK game), up at 6:45, going to play trivia tonight after work. Think I'll be bringing my C- game.
(Kind of like UK last night.)

Beautiful day, thinking of sneaking in a lunchtime slow run.
