Mr.C.,
You raised that young man to know how to use a grill; they look absolutely delicious.
Good on you, and good for you, sir!
One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.
Man, those are some fat frog legs.
He came over to celebrate his younger brother's birthday. His mom was working in the kitchen, and I was about to start. He asked if he could help her, she said no, and I said I could use a little help. He asked how, and I asked him if he wanted to grill. He loves it, and he does it better than I do. I enjoy it, but I get more enjoyment out of his enjoyment, you know? I'll get it next time.
Since we’re doing grilled fare, here’s an 8.5 LB Boston Butt I threw on the grill the other day.

It’s Armageddon out there. Had to go to Kroger, which was bad enough, but then got it in my head to pick up a bottle of my favorite tequila while I was out (Manik anejo). The only liquor store close that had it is in the Paddock Shops, normally a quiet little outdoor mall. Not today. Don’t these people have to work?

Turned out really well, I infused it with onions and garlic cloves, basted it with the drippings three four times, and rather than pulling it, I thin sliced it...
Good stuff, I’d have swapped you some for a few of those “frog legs” and hunk-o-cow.

Just want to state for the record that you can't blame that Christmas Eve snow on me (or give me credit for it)--I was in Carlisle County, where it was sunny and a balmy 25. Hope y'all enjoyed it.
U really think players are going to duke without being paid over Kentucky?--Gilbert Arenas, 9/12/19
Yeah, judging from Chris Bailey's Twitter feed this was a feast or famine event. Lexington and points east got a good bit, west of Lex little to nothing. My family in Greenup County got about 6 inches.

We woke up Christmas morning to a pretty good dusting.
Christmas morning dusting, gone by 11:00

52 and raining right now; supposed to be 64 on New Year’s day (and rain). Winter schminter.

Have a tee time with my son tomorrow. Just checked the weather forecast.
2020 sucks.
Deluge through 1/1/21.
Hey!! That’s pretty fun to say. (1/1/21)

2½ hours from tee time, weather seems to be holding out OK. Fingers crossed... Also fingers crossed for me playing with a torn rotator cuff.
So did you get to play?
Wouldn't have here today unless you wore a poncho.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
Great picture and that young man sure wears your face, sir.

D, remind me to get you some proper hats. Hog's Breath, Sloppy Joes, the Green parrot, The Hogfish, some of the really "in" places.
Glad you're able to get some time out. Here in Lexvegas it's more like Seattle than the South.

Lol. I used to have a Hog's Breath t-shirt, but that has been many years ago. I suspect my daughter stole it from me, as she does anything semi-cool I own.
Fluffy inch or so of snow here in Louisville this morning.

Not Black & White, just January.

We had the perfect snow, just enough to cover the ground making for beautiful landscapes as pictured above, without all the drama of dangerous road conditions, or shoveling sidewalks and driveways.

We have a slight chance of snow Sunday night or Monday morning. We are out of milk and bread but I told my wife just to wait until Tuesday.
