Re: BTO final week
Let's not any of us quit our day jobs, ok?
UKFlounder had a 56.67% win percentage, which will win you a little money in Vegas. Special credit to takmashfan, who missed a few weeks, but hit 60% of his picks, which would have been good for 1st place overall.
Hitting 50% or better against the spread were:
takmashfan 60%
UKFlounder 56.67
SalsaKat 54.55
truecatsfan 54.55
Virginiacat 52.5
thedonnie123 51.67
DarrellKSR 51.67
Yeager49 51.43
Kingcat 51.11
Doc 50.00
Lfbj00 50.00
And very few of us managed a sub-.500 mark.
Scout714 48.33
KGB 48.33
Mickintheham 40 (just one week)
CatinIL 37.5
catmanjack 20 (just one week)

Re: BTO final week
Really, on the whole we did a very good job with picking. Really, almost every player who played more than a week was within a game of being .500, and most were above it.
Always fun if somebody goes crazy for a season and hits like 70%, but that's awfully dang hard to do. I'm in a weekly pool and I let my 14-year old son handle it most of the time. We'll be watching a game (we pick 20 per week, college and pro) and have the game "won," and a meaningless touchdown will be scored by one team or the other at the end that will not impact the outcome, but will mess up the pick. I tell him, that's why they call it gambling--and why we don't do it.
