Red is incorrect pick.

Doc, does this end with the regular season? If it goes to the bowls, do the rules for re-picks change?
This week coming is the final week. You will have ONE UNUSED TEAM (see page one). All players who are left will go into the bowl playoff with the number of strikes they have remaining. The SEC championship game is excluded because nobody knew who would be in it. The "Bowl Elimination" will be like last year. You list ALL the SEC bowl teams in order of how you want them as most likely to win. As you get a loss you are eliminated unless you have 2 remaining strikes. So if your #1 pick loses and you already have on strike, you're out. If you have no strikes you are good until the next team on your list loses. It does not occur by order games played but by how you list the teams, and you must pick SEC teams. So if TN is playing Baylor in the Music city bowl and you think Baylor will win, then TN is going to be the last team your list. I'll have a tie breaker-likely be associated with the team from the SEC that makes the playoff. Also the SEC team in the play off (Alabama) will be for their FIRST playoff game only. NOT the national title game assuming they win that semi final game.
Also, we may do it as a "secret entry" where you don't post your pick but rather PM to me prior. This way its a true competition and people who put their picks in late don't get the advantage of seeing what the early picks are and use that to their advantage.

Tennessee for me,
Thanks for the explanation on the bowls, Doc

All winners so we are going to the finals as we stand
Doc: - 1 strike
Flounder: 1 strike
LFBJ: 0 strikes
MITH: 1 strike
Salsa: 1 strike
Yeager: 0 strikes
Once the bowls are announced you need to PM me your picks with the most likely to win to least likely to win. As we go down the list, as you get a strike as a team loses so if my first, second and third team listed win but fourth team listed loses then I'm out after round 4. Those who have zero strikes have until two of their teams lose. Again, you pick the SEC teams so if the SEC teams go undefeated in the bowls we are ALL winners regardless of how we pick meaning it goes to the tie breaker. I'll chew on that for now. Your picks need to be PMed to me rather than posted as this is a blind pick so those picking late don't have the advantage. Once everybody's picks are in I will post them. Can't put your picks in until we know the bowl matchups.

PS-will also be doing a Survivor Bowl game for everybody else that is just a ONE and DONE

So here it is. Finals time. Plck your SEC teams in order of most likely to win. As you go down the list and your team loses you get a strike. Those with no strikes during the season have one miss available and those who had a strike will be eliminated on their first miss. After each SEC place the number of points they will win by. This is the tie breaker. If there are more than one person going out in the same round, I will add up the number of point that that the SEC won by and that will be the tie breaker. Whomever is closest to that number, wins. So if player "A" and only 1 strike has AL 7, AU 7, MSU 7, TN 7(and TN loses) their tie breaker will be 21 (their 3 wins were by 7) Player "B" had no strikes picks TN 6, AL 6, AU 6 and FL 6 (TN and FL lost) his tie breaker number would be 12. Winning margin on the the AL + AU + MSU =18 whle the winning margin on the AL + AU =16 then player A wins because his tiebreaker is closer (21 is closer to 18 than 12 is to 16). I'm ONLY counting the VICTORY margins on the games YOU PICK correct. so each persons tie breaker target could be different.
PM your picks to me as this is a secret selection. Once all picks are in I will post. If you want to edit prior to posting, just pm me but once they are all in and posted they are final.
Cotton - Alabama vs. Michigan St. - December 31
Sugar - Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma State - January 1
Music City - Texas A&M vs. Louisville - December 30
Citrus Bowl - Florida vs. Michigan - January 1
Outback - Tennessee vs. Northwestern - January 1
Belk - Mississippi St. vs. North Carolina St. - December 30
TaxSlayer - Georgia vs. Penn State - January 2
Texas - LSU vs. Texas Tech - December 29
Liberty - Arkansas vs. Kansas St. - January 2
Birmingham - Auburn vs. Memphis - December 30
Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been.--David Bowie.
So for example (not my picks), here is how I want your picks listed:
Tennessee 12
Georgia 10
Mississippi St. 7
LSU 8
Ole Miss 6
Alabama 7
Texas A&M 2
Florida 1
Arkansas 2
Auburn 1
If Bama loses then my tiebreaker number will be 43 (12+10+7+8+6=43). If myself and anybody else make it to round five, it comes to the tiebreaker. I'll add the winning totals of TN, GA, MSU, LSU, and MS for MY tiebreaker (the other players will have a different tiebreaker number depending on their order). Whomever is closest to their number wins. If its still a tie then it goes to a second tiebreaker which is closest on the LAST CORRECT PICK, so in the above analogy, I'd go to the Ol Miss game. However far off I'm away from my prediction of 6 and the actual number. If we are still tied we move up the list to the next correct (LSU), then MSU, then GA, etc... incorrect (losses) are used for tiebreakers (this pertains only to people who have no strikes going into the finals) so if you pick GA to win by 3 but they lose by 3, in the tie breaker that is a perfect pick even though you picked the wrong team.
