How would you spend 2.6 trillion dollars?
I think that is a question all of us should ask our elected officials
Actually they spent a bit more than that. I forgot the 456 billion in deficit spendingLast edited by dan_bgblue; 08-13-2015 at 09:00 PM.

I didn't read the story but I would build UK a new basketball arena and football stadium for starters...

Give 99.99% of it away to somebody smarter than me to use it wisely.
(Did I do my math correctly? 0.01% of 2.6 trillion is $260 million dollars? I'd keep that for personal use.)

..on lottery tickets?
I know some locals who are up at the quick mart right now I wager, who certainly would. ..and if they had that amount, I'd find myself constantly late for work, low on gas, and behind them in line.
Heck, I do already and they're just spending their bill money!Last edited by kingcat; 08-22-2015 at 12:41 PM.
“Before I leave I’d like to see our politics begin to return to the purposes and practices that distinguish our history from the history of other nations,
“I would like to see us recover our sense that we are more alike than different. We are citizens of a republic made of shared ideals forged in a new world to replace the tribal enmities that tormented the old one. Even in times of political turmoil such as these, we share that awesome heritage and the responsibility to embrace it.”
