    rain dance

I am warming up my rain dance chant, we have not had any rain at my house or county since July 4 and with heat at 99 or 100 almost every day with no end in site.

I know I can remember that step I did when in the Explorer Scouts...and a one and a two and a three.....

I "ran" 4 miles last night when my son was at soccer practice. Took me almost an hour, so you can tell how much "running" I'm really doing. Anyway, it was 97 degrees at 6pm when I ran and my Runtastic Pro app said that I dehydrated 58.8 ounces during the exercise.

I drank 4 bottles of 16.9 oz water bottles, so I was fine, but man...you have to be careful. I'm not buying the entire app's estimate because most of the running was off Lakeshore Parkway, where there's a running track that is shaded much of the way...thank goodness.

It's probably been 2 weeks or so since we had rain. We finally got rain in Louisville last night--big storm came through. My grass was looking pretty brown--we need some more.

Brian looks like you are about to get some more, lots headed that way.

This weekend the forecast is for 103. It is going to be hot on the golf course Sunday afternoon but as hard as the ground is I now drive the ball like Bubba

Just got back from the track. son had to run 2 miles, and running at midnight is cooler, down to 80.
