The "Redskins Rule" has worked in 17 of the last 18 Presidential elections. If the Redskins win their last home game before the election, the incumbent party retains power. If the Redskins lose, the incumbent party loses.

Only exception is 2004, but the idea there is Gore winning the popular vote but losing the Electoral College in 2000 "reversed polarity" for the 04 election cycle.

Reminds me. Order the MREs. Just in case Obama wins. I wonder if the Mayans stopped the calendar b/c the US debt got to be too high for them to count so they just figured it was over at that point anyway.
