“RSO (Regional Security Officer) expressed concerns with the ability to defend Post in the event of a coordinated attack due to limited manpower, security measures, weapons capabilities, host nation support, and the overall size of the compound,” the cable said.
According to a review of the cable addressed to the Office of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Emergency Action Committee was also briefed "on the location of approximately ten Islamist militias and AQ training camps within Benghazi … these groups ran the spectrum from Islamist militias, such as the QRF Brigade and Ansar al-Sharia, to ‘Takfirist thugs.’”

So basically we know for sure the mission in Benghazi told Clinton and the Embassy in Tripoli they were in a very vulnerable situation, in detail, and the only action they took was to was to REDUCE our military presence in the annex.
They had sufficient warning and intelligence to increase security there, had sufficient time DURING the attack to send both air and boots on the ground support, and have known since the moment the attack happened who did it and flat lied about their knowledge of any of it.
Yeah, this guy needs to be President. Always good when the Commander in Chief denies support to a US outpost begging for help.
Oh, given this info was given to the Embassy in Tripoli and to Clinton and the US Ambassador in Libya, does anyone a) seriously believe Obama wasn't briefed, and b) that he isn't responsible regardless?
Every President gets 2 national security briefings every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They relay a tremendous amount of information to the President every day, but forgot to mention reports of security risks and requests for support from a US outpost almost within site of multiple Al Queda bases? Sitting in a known volatile high risk location in a region that is the center of US foreign policy concerns on a daily basis? Then they not only forgot one day, but didn't get around to it for WEEKS between the assessment and the attacks?
There's no way around the fact: this President was personally aware of the risks faced by the US facilities in Benghazi and chose to do nothing. Absolutely nothing. Further he hired people who were also completely aware for months of the problem and did nothing.
If he were a general he and his staff would appropriately be charged with dereliction of duty and put up for general courts martial.
Like I said, I hope there's a special place in hell for politicians who sell out our soldiers. That's what this administration did in Benghazi. May God rest the souls of those we lost.
