They are aspiring models, some more accomplished than others. There's a website called Model Mayhem and models, photographers, makeup artists, etc. all network there.
I'm 55 years old, married, and have two young girls at home. I do this for experience and to learn. Most of the models I've worked with do it for the same reason.

[QUOTE=CGWildcat;25329]There are some seriously good point & shoot cameras out there that can get the job done. Simple to use and less expensive. I use a Canon SLR camera which enables me to use a variety of lenses depending on what I'm looking to accomplish, but that runs into some serious money. Do some research based on what yo're looking for and how much $$$ you're willing to spend. If you give me a $$$ range I can look into it as well.

By the way, guys, I enjoy sharing my work here but I would enjoy it a lot more if you gave some feedback. I could also do some behind-the-scenes stories and commentary but y'all need to participate in some way(s). Questions are fine.

You do great work, sir.
Do prefer outside settings versus interior and what do you do to compensate for the lighting on overscast days?
One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.
Not having a studio, outside wins by default. Lighting equipment is expensive but can be compensated if theres good natural light available inside. Actually, overcast can be ideal because there's no harsh shadowing and it's easier on the eyes of the subject. Ideally, an hour before and after sundown is perfect.
