This is the video that went viral on the Internet in the last few days. I have heard few who can express themselves with such clarity and purpose.

A Democrat from Louisiana switching to the GOP? I like his reasoning, if he's telling the truth. And I'm surprised that we don't see more of it.
And aside from the obvious stated reasons, I wonder what else is in play here? I mean, no politician changes political parties strictly on philosophy. Except for Ronald Reagan, of course. So what's the end game for Mr. Guillory?

I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight.
Seems like a straight arrow, according to his Wiki profile. Good education, Vietnam veteran, Roman Catholic, although 4 divorces isn't a good thing. But that's coming from a guy that waited over 17 years to find #2 after I divorced #1. But that's the quirk in my personality. But getting back to Mr. Guillory, he seems okay now that I have a little more operational info on him.
Thanks, dan!

It is natural to agree with like minded people, and he said many things I agree with. I will spend some time looking for his warts, and see if I feel the same then as I do today

I'm surprised that Joe Manchin hasn't flipped sides. He agrees with the GOP on more issues than he does the DNC. The DNC keeps taking leaps to the left.
Clearly this guy is an "Uncle Tom" (DWS)

Well, after 4 marriages/divorces, either the guy is 1)hard to live with, 2)just hasn't found his soulmate yet, or 3)has a wandering eye and isn't going to stop.
If, after 2 marriages a person can't figure it out (aside from a spouse dying from illnesses or accidents) then just don't. It's easier for everybody that way. JMHO.
