I've heard standup jokes using this premise, but have no doubt there are people this stupid in America. Can't decide if it's for real or not.

I once saw where someone had called this complaint in to one of those newspaper sound off lines. Seemed serious. This is hilarious, but I'm also not sure it wasn't a prank. Someone that dumb would have been thrown off her stride when the host stated the obvious. She was ready for it and deflected it too well. But still, very funny. Thanks!
