Remarkable: 5 Different Players Led UK Scoring In 6 NCAA Tournament Games

I have watched or followed the NCAAT since 1958; no team has ever shown the balance 2012 UK did:

Western Ky Jones led UK with 22 points/10 rebounds. Lamb had 16 points
Iowa State Teague had 24 points/7 assists; Miller had 19 points
Indiana MKG had 24 points/10 rebounds; Lamb had 21 points
Baylor Davis led with 18/11/6 blocks; MKG had 19 points
Louisville Davis led with 18/14/5; Miller had 13 points
Kansas Lamb led with 22 points

As a team, UK shot 51.5% from the field, 42.9% on threes, and 73.4% FT

    FG%
    Miller 56.1%
    Lamb 55.2%
    MKG 54%
    Davis 51%
    Jones 50.9%
    Teague 45.9%

    On 3s
    Wiltjer 57.1%
    Lamb 52.2%
    Miller 43.8%
    Teague 40%

    FT%
    Miller 94.4%
    Teague 76.9%
    MKG 76%
    Davis 74.4%
    Lamb 74.2%

    PPG
    Lamb 16.5 ppg
    Davis 13.7 ppg
    Teague 13.3 ppg
    MKG 12.3 ppg
    Miller 11.7 ppg
    Jones 11.5 ppg

What a terrific tournament Darius had: 11.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 56.1% FG, 43.8% from 3 and 94.4% FT

An incredible team in every aspect.

So, why do you believe 96 was a better team? 2012--best ever.
