Left to go watch the end of a high school game around the corner from me where UK commit, Prattville (AL) kicker was playing, Austin Maginnis. Was a nice break from my frustration.
unearned runs are killing this team, and no timely hitting. Giant pitchers are killing us inside. And imo the plate ump really hurt Carp tonight, would not give him any pitches on the black.
Good year though considering we never had Carp, didn't have Berkman, didn't have craig to start the year, and lost Furcal the end of August. We win this series with Furcal playing, just shows how valuable he was last year in the WS, he steadies the defense and makes outstanding plays.
yep, should have been out of the inning. I wonder if he was trying to hold up as the SS wasn't near the bag, anyway it seemed to unnerve him and the series was never the same after. Plus the Cards could not get a hit when they needed it, can't leave runners on 2nd and 3rd that often w/o scoring and expect to win.

I'm not a major SF Giants fan but I do live out here. Hoping to cross off an item on my bucket list and attend one of the World Series games this year!
Good run while it lasted for the Cardinals. Given the roster and coaching losses after the World Series, I never expected them to be playing this late in the year. Go Redbirds!
