1995-2014 BCS Conf Won 54 Of 60 Final 4 Games; SEC #1 With 14, #6 Big 12 With 4
If Final 4 Wins are the strongest indicator of conference strength (which I don't agree with) the SEC looks very good. From 1995-2014 (20 years) here are the Final 4 wins by conference:
14 SEC (Kentucky 8, Florida 5, Arkansas 1)
12 ACC (Duke 5, North Carolina 4, Maryland 2, Georgia Tech 1)
11 Big East (UConn 6 as the 2 wins last year they were in the AAC, Syracuse 3, Louisville 2)
7 Big 10 (Michigan State 3, Indiana 1, Illinois 1, Ohio State 1, Michigan 1)
6 PAC 12 (UCLA 3, Arizona 3)
4 Big 12 (Kansas 4, the rest of that incredibly strong league that KU dominates.....0)
6 for the rest (UConn 2 as an AAC member, Butler 2, Utah 1, Memphis 1)

So much for that parity....

So much for the SEC being the worst basketball conference. We need two of Arkansas, LSU or Missouri to get good again along with Auburn's imminent rise, and we could be in for a very good run as a conference over the next few years.
