Home Depot Hacked - Possibly Severe - A Heads up!

Keep an eye on your bank statements. Apparently, the hack may have gone as far back as MAY! Cards have already started being sold, Home depot is investigating.

Brian Krebs broke the news on his Krebs On Security blog. This guy has some serious connections in the underground malware scene. This is one of dozens of hacks he has broken. It's the reason he has had death threats send to him, he's been tried to be framed (by having heroin sent to his house and the cops called), etc.

At this point I think it's probably safe to assume that every merchant of every kind has been or will be hacked.

I'm going out and systematically removing financial records everywhere I can. They will still exist, but I've rarely put anything on file for this reason, and I encourage everyone to remove anything they can where they can.
