113 heat index - great fútbol weather
That is the projected heat index tomorrow afternoon in Mobile Alabama where my son will be playing. I will be melting on the sidelines.

The heat warning for Mobile said to add 10 degrees to the heat index if working or playing in direct sunlight. So it will be like 123 on the field.
Dan, working in that temperature, be careful. That's oppressive heat. Hydrate, shade, cover, rest, repeat.

Re: 113 heat index - great fútbol weather
And our power was knocked in a storm yesterday and we didn't get it back on unti two this afternoon, hottest day of the year . No customers could call, no computer, hand write all receipts, sweating. Terrible

Field was in an oven. Think that was the hottest I've ever been. Thankfully the state mandated a water break in the middle of each half. Brutal.
Came home with a badly needed win, 21-0 (ok, 3-0), which helped make the heat - and the 8 hours of driving today worthwhile. But man, it was rough.

Surprised it wasn't cancelled. They're getting more and more worried about such things.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.
