First, let me say I am reluctant to post this because even though I've been reading this forum daily for a long while, this represents my first post. I know that message board decorum usually suggests that one should first participate on a board by commenting on others' postings before starting a post, but I think this is an important subject.
As explained in this article, there is a new report released by the Government Accountability Institute which shows just how potentially corrupt the fundraising activities of certain campaigns may be.
I haven't read the actual full report yet, but I've read 3-4 articles which describe its contents. Here are the key findings of the report.
I suspect the MSM will handle this the same way it did the ACORN scandal, either not very well or not at all. In this case, the media may give this report a little attention because the report includes problems on both sides of the aisle.
If this posting represents a breach in board decorum, I offer my apologies in advance.
