Fab Five
2005-14 Duke Is 18-9 In NCAAT. 8-2 In North Carolina And 10-7 Outside State
When they won their title in 2010, Duke was 6-0 outside their home state. In 2013 they made the Elite 8 and
played all 4 games outside the state. So, in 2 years they were 9-1 outside the state. The other 8 years of this
time period they were 8-2 in their back yard and 1-6 when they had to travel like every other team (except
UNC) does for the tournament.

I don't really get fired up about this.
They've lost to a 15 seed and a 14 seed in state. It's a really nice advantage for Duke and UNC, but I don't get upset about it. It's a credit to Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh that they consistently agree to host.
We're going to start to get to play in Louisville every 3 years or so. We've played in Indy and Nashville several times as well. That's almost as big an advantage as what they have. It would be nice if Cincy had an arena worthy of hosting tourney games.
