Grading the contest before I go to bed (tomorrow will be a busy day).

There is no winner of the first KSR point. Although I was closest in the sense that I had Kentucky picked with the smallest margin of victory, this has always been interpreted to require both selecting the correct winner, AND being closest on the margin. So no KSR point awarded for the first question.

Willie Cauley-Stein led all scorers with 16 points.

And, again, NOBODY picked Willie, so there is no 2nd KSR point awarded here. Group fail. Probaby should abandon the HOF induction for this one, but we'll plod on, and award the 3rd KSR point winner the HOF induction in a weak HOF class.

3. Aaron Harrison, 9:01, 1st half

Sheesh...a bad pick, but correctly selected Aaron Harrison, and at the 9:01 mark of the 1st half, the closest to the 12:15 mark in the 2nd half when it actually occurred.

So with one single, solitary KSR point, Darrell KSR for the win. Sigh.

Weak effort all the way around tonight, folks.

At the beginning of the season I was highly touted to go 40-0 this year in the KSR Game contest....alas I'll be lucky to pull out a 6 seed.

It's not even bittersweet when you pick against UK and you're correct, but truly, I would rather pick who I think will win, then forget about it until after the game, and then take a look at it. I wish I had picked Arkansas to win, but I thought UK would pull out a hard fought win. Actually, when UK had the 5-point lead late, I thought that it was playing out about right. I would have figured they would hold on, but they didn't.
