Andy Williams dead at 84

Never really followed his career but I seem to recall him being a peripheral member of the Rat Pack and I remember his wife being on trial for the murder of her lover. Didn't he used to have an annual Christmas show on TV?Cool as a rule, but sometimes bad is bad.

I think he recorded some of the best Christmas music there is. I thought he had died several years ago though.

Just heard this, sad news. I'm always happy to see somebody live at least into their 80's, though. Much happier to see them live happy, healthy lives into their 90's, though. To me, it seems that we have a lot of productive people in their 80's.

One of my all time favorite singers, I think he was one of the first to have a big name show in Branson. Great voice, great Christmas Specials and albums. Will be missed.

I used to watch his show on TV back in the '70's. Just good wholesome family oriented entertainment.
