    RIP Dr. Anil Shah

    I found out today that the cardiologist that basically saved my life 4 + years ago died from cancer. He was a good God loving man. Rest in Peace!

    jazyd, thanks for asking.

    Based on the cholesterol report I got yesterday, everything is in good shape. The "bad" number was down to 72 and the "good" number was up to 80. My new doctor decided to take me off of Niaspan for 6 months to see how I respond and if the numbers stay the same or in the ballpark, he may take me off of Plavix as well. I just need to remember to keep eating the right foods...and running...and running...and running...
