How to get original pic from cj article
My wife has an article with a picture of her at four yrs old walking next to her grandfather in the hospital after he was hit by a car. He was a retired minister and they were having an event to honor him. My question is how would we find the original. Would the photographer have it, or the courier journal? It was early 80s.

Re: How to get original pic from cj article
I'd just call the CJ, ask for "archives" or something similar and start talking to people. Not sure if they'd have original negatives that far back, going to have to talk to a few people to track that one down IMO.
People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back.

Might check with Jon Scott. He does a ton of stuff with old newspapers, archives, microfiche, etc. in connection with his venture into Kentucky basketball history.
