As posted when he died, Richie is one of my favorites. Saw him in person three times going allthe way back to the Bitter End in Greenwich in 1964. Met him and talked with him for about 15 minutes in Bham in the 90s. His autographed CD is a lasting treasure.
I was at Woodstock but did not get there in time for Ritchie's set (there was a little bit of a traffic jam). I did get to meet him briefly in Greenwich Village a couple of weeks after the festival. Just a real nice guy.
