Most embarrassing Concert you have ever attended

    Air Supply, or Crystal Gayle?

"Lost in Love," or "Don't it make my brown eyes blue?"

    Hmm.

I've been to many but none I'm embarrassed about. I had comp tix to josh grobin but turned them down (same source as my Eagle's tix-- see thread on premi board). Probably REO is the closest. Saw them several times in the 70s as well as 3 yrs ago.

I got y'all beat....3 glasses of bourbon after a big fight with Lori when we were dating...I didn't know which end was up. I bought her Barry Manilow tickets to make up. Sat through it all.

Does "Barney" count? My daughter was a big fan of his (yes, the purple dinosaur) so we went to one of his "concerts". Not sure that counts, and its not as bad a Barry Manilow.

As a kid, we went to see Wayne Newton at the NY state fair (my uncle was a NY State Trooper assigned to security so we went to the show). Petty embarrassing now, I guess.

Philosophers have long searched for the truest definition of "love".

Unfortunately, we just found the truest definition of "whipped".

Don't worry about it, no man has survived a relationship with a woman without doing some things that would make you check your manhood at the desk. I should have known when we had the joint wedding shower thing that I was in trouble.

Took my wife to see Roberta Flack back in the mid seventies. She was fantastic. However, the opening act was some guy singing Commercial jingles, (Get abucket of chicken, KFC and some McDonalds ad where the baby grand cover raised.) It was effin Barry Manilow and the Oreos or the Manilettes, whatever they were called that night. It was the worst music ever. Even sweet Roberta couldn't make up for that. Sheesh! What bad memories!

Don't sweat it, my man. The true test of manhood is being confident in it. I've been in drag at least twice that I can remember. So, keep your man card and hold up your whipped card proudly.

Too many to "reply with quote" on here. At least none of you saw me last night carrying Lori's bright red Kate Spade purse back to the car for her. LMAO!!! At least I got to sit next to Lori and another girl with her date...she was wearing a sequined shirt with "I'm a Fanilow." I was too when I saw her. Whew! Man card renewed!

I bought ex-GF a black Kate Spade for her birthday a few years ago, and had to pose with it in pics, and hold/carry it for her. My ex-wife used to always have me hold her purse all the time, too. Then I went out with one who was horrified at the idea of a woman asking a man to hold her purse. Said she would never do that. I also never got more than a kiss from her, so maybe carrying their purses is the price we pay LOL

    Concerts - I don't go to.

I don't know, man. Manilow AND Cher? I'd say Lori's cool for going to Meatloaf and Skynard but I'm sensing a pattern here.

That's more information than I really wanted to know about either of those two groups.

Barry was warming them up by crooning for them backstage I suppose?

I don't believe that's his natural color for one minute...well, maybe the hair, but not the rest.
