His time under Reagan, Bush, and Clinton were very admirable. I thought he did a great job even though he invaded Iraq before confirming WMDs
He could have, and should have been our first black President…but I get why he chose not to run for President.

He had blood cancer. Same kind as a good friend of mine. Who remarked to me today that people think he is some kind of covid radical for staying home and avoiding almost everything. It is my cross to bear as well—and when I do go out to grocery or maybe hardware, I wear a n95 mask. Even vaccinated in advance and using monoclonal antibodies treatment it is likely covid would be fatal. Rather than a lesson in the futility of getting vaccinated, losing the General is another reason to get the shot and avoid passing on the virus.
And Colin Powell should have been president.
