Probably only the “Real Fans” will be allowed.
As far as UK football fans are concerned, that would be alot
Are we assuming that limited attendance will be in play?
That's what I would guess, but I'm just not sure that in May, I'm ready to accept anything as what they're going to do.
And what do I mean by "limited attendance?" I have no idea, really.
Are we talking, maybe, 10,000 fans in the stands? Is that what you guys think, or something else?

a) How many fans will be allowed--from full attendance, to 0 attendance. I assume something between those two extremes, but just a guess.
b) After deciding how many fans, how in the world will they be determined? I'd guess the biggest donors somehow will be benefitted, as usual, but would they be the only ones?
How about students?
How about the "regular" season ticket holder?
I have more questions and no answers.
Consensus of many ADs is range of 18% to 23% of capacity. That would exclude suites. As I posted earlier there will likely be family groups that can sit together. IDs required for entry. That will eliminate Mitch’s authorized resale partners. I think at CWs you can expect 15k other than suites. As soon as Mitch gets back from the casino we may know who gets in. Some tix will have to go to visitors.
I think it will be around a third of capacity or for us, 20k, discounting suites. That's what I saw a couple of prominent AD's say. As far as who gets in: Would imagine regular student allotment, families of staff and players, recruits, visitors minimal allotment, then some formula of donors, long time season ticket holders, season ticket holders, etc

I don't think over 15% capacity and given all the other factors like concession and the use of other facilities I'd honestly be inclined to say as little as 10% capacity. I cant see how they can account for family units when assigning seats.
I suppose an advance ticket sales for multiple family units, and then following it up with individual ticket sales might work in some format. Seems a bit like an "awe screw it" proposition though.

Was wondering about that myself, would have to be refund or more probable credit on next season. Friend of mine claims info on team coming back, says will be done in 30% increments?
Hate to break it to everyone, but Beshear's press conference from a few days ago has me pretty depressed about fall sports.
First off, commented on contact sport practices through summer being individual workouts only, not contact. No scrimmages. Granted, this was "youth sports", but another comment he made said his understanding of the SEC opening up would be for individual workouts and they hadn't discussed it with him.
Also said he didn't see any fans in the stands. Not 20,000, not 30,000.

Politically if the SEC and other leagues allow football at reduced capacity and he stops it in Ky he'll get crucified. I think politically he's smarter than that, so he won't like it but he'll probably relent.
Essentially this is a very conservative state that ended up with a fairly liberal Governor b/c the GOP candidate was generally unlikable and the teachers came for him with both barrels, and he still almost won.
So Andy doesn't have a very strong base of support, and he knows it. If he keeps this up it will hurt him. He knows this state voted for Trump by 30 points, folks here don't much like being told what they can't do by the government.
They were OK with it to start, but in this ever fluid virus situation he has to respond to the voters now that the new has worn off. He's doing that, but not as fast as many, maybe most, would like.
Beshear is an Idiot. He has rules in place for which there is no basis, scientific or otherwise.
I never did understand why you closed golf courses, lakes, etc. They are almost naturally distanced to small groups. I think it was more about "these things are optional, so even a tiny risk is too much to justify" logic, which is nonsense.
Total shutdowns are untenable, and with respect to puma I really don't even think a 30 day, all out lockdown would work, just delay the inevitable. A balanced approach seems to be working, and right now Kentucky is being a little too strict based on how other states are performing.
