How being a Benchwarmer taught me everything I need to know in life

This article resonates with me. I have two children who are still at home, playing sports. Currently they're doing great with their teams, but neither are the superstar type that might avoid much of this. My 8th grade daughter may not make her high school volleyball team; it looks like it will be very close. My 6th grade son plays on an elite level soccer team ranked # 1 in the State, but is only a part-time starter. There are some tremendous lessons to be derived from this article, not just in sports, but in life.
