I've known Ken for years. Was my business partners best friend and college roommate. Very shocked and saddened. Have not found the body and an still hopeful he is adrift on wreckage

Doesn't sound good, but hope against hope he is located somewhere.
honestly, Ken was a bit of a pompous ass....but still does not mean he deserved anything like this. Most folks in my profession are good hearted, and deep down he was (I hate talking past tense about him). Fingers crossed they find him and his wife (presumably)
truly sad.

I heard about this on the radio. Of course, did not know that he is a friend of yours at that time.

Reading Dan's article I don't see how anyone made it. The radar showed that plane was tossed several hundred feet up and down in seconds. The article said it was hard enough to take the wings right off the plane. Scary man.
I've seen reports on a number of small plane crashes lately. Had one in Lexington where the plane had trouble on approach, landed in a field at Calumet. they were coming in for the Kansas game, and fortunately they were not only uninjured, they went on to the game. Most aren't nearly so lucky.
